Terms and Conditions
1. General Overview
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of La Palma Padel Club Pty Ltd (“the Club”), including court bookings, memberships, coaching, competitions, and access to facilities. By booking a court, purchasing a membership, or entering the premises, all players agree to abide by these Terms.
2. Court Bookings
- All bookings are made exclusively through the Playtomic app.
- Players must ensure their Playtomic account details are accurate and up to date.
- Court prices, availability, and booking rules are displayed within Playtomic and may vary depending on time, day, and demand.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Standard cancellation policy is 24 hours’ notice prior to the booking start time.
- Refunds or credits are handled directly through Playtomic according to its rules.
- If Playtomic specifies a different cancellation window for a particular booking type, that rule applies.
- Late cancellations or no‑shows are non‑refundable.
4. Memberships
All memberships are purchased and managed through Playtomic. Memberships may be cancelled at any time; however, the current payment cycle must be completed before cancellation takes effect.
4.1 One‑Month Membership — $150/month
- $75 Playtomic wallet credit (usable only at La Palma Padel Club)
- 50% discount on court bookings (member’s portion only)
- 50% discount on social competitions
- 10% discount on pro shop items
4.2 Six‑Month Membership — $900 every six months
- $500 Playtomic wallet credit (usable only at La Palma Padel Club)
- 50% discount on court bookings (member’s portion only)
- 50% discount on social competitions
- 10% discount on pro shop items
- One free 1‑hour lesson
- One free can of balls
- One free club t‑shirt
4.3 One‑Year Membership — $1800 every six months
- $1100 Playtomic wallet credit (usable only at La Palma Padel Club)
- 50% discount on court bookings (member’s portion only)
- 50% discount on social competitions
- 15% discount on pro shop items
- Two free 1‑hour lessons
- Two free cans of balls
- One free club t‑shirt
- 30% discount on the first racket purchased from the pro shop
4.4 Membership Conditions
- Wallet credits are non‑transferable and non‑refundable.
- Discounts apply only to the member’s share of the booking or purchase.
- Free items and lessons must be redeemed within the membership period.
- Misuse of membership benefits may result in suspension or cancellation.
5. Coaching, Programs & Social Competitions
- All coaching sessions, clinics, and social competitions must be booked through Playtomic or directly with the Club.
- The Club reserves the right to reschedule or cancel sessions due to weather, coach availability, or operational needs.
- Discounts for members apply only where specified.
6. Competitions & Leagues
- Players must adhere to competition rules, formats, and schedules as communicated by the Club.
- The Club may adjust formats, divisions, or match times to ensure fairness and smooth operation.
- Poor sportsmanship or repeated rule violations may result in removal from competitions.
7. Conduct & Behaviour
All players and visitors must:
- Demonstrate good conduct and sportsmanship at all times.
- Treat staff, coaches, and other players with respect.
- Use equipment and facilities responsibly.
- Follow all posted signage and staff instructions.
The Club reserves the right to remove any person engaging in abusive, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour.
8. Use of Facilities
- Players must respect the courts, nets, walls, and all equipment.
- Damage caused by misuse may result in repair charges.
- When the Club is unstaffed, all drinks and retail items must be paid for using the QR code at the front desk.
- Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated areas and in accordance with licensing laws.
9. Liability & Safety
- Padel is a physical sport. Players participate at their own risk.
- The Club is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property unless required by law.
- Players must wear appropriate footwear and use the courts safely.
- Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult unless participating in a supervised program.
10. Privacy, Media & Data Handling
- Personal information is managed in accordance with Australian privacy laws.
- Booking and payment information is handled through Playtomic’s platform and subject to Playtomic’s privacy policy.
- The Club may use contact details to communicate updates, schedules, and promotions.
- Photos and videos may be taken during club activities, competitions, coaching sessions, or general use of the facilities for promotional or community purposes.
- Players who do not wish to appear in photos or videos, or do not want their image published on social media or marketing materials, must notify staff prior to participation.
- The Club will make reasonable efforts to respect and accommodate these requests.
11. Changes to Terms
La Palma Padel Club Pty Ltd may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website or displayed in the Playtomic app.
