Terms and Conditions
1. General Overview
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of La Palma Padel Club Pty Ltd (“the Club”), including court bookings, memberships, coaching, competitions, and access to facilities. By booking a court, purchasing a membership, or entering the premises, all players agree to abide by these Terms.
2. Court Bookings
- All bookings are made exclusively through the Playtomic app.
- Players must ensure their Playtomic account details are accurate and up to date.
- Court prices, availability, and booking rules are displayed within Playtomic and may vary depending on time, day, and demand.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Standard cancellation policy is 24 hours’ notice prior to the booking start time.
- Refunds or credits are handled directly through Playtomic according to its rules.
- If Playtomic specifies a different cancellation window for a particular booking type, that rule applies.
- Late cancellations or no‑shows are non‑refundable.
4. Standard Memberships
All memberships are purchased and managed through Playtomic. Memberships may be cancelled at any time; however, the current payment cycle must be completed before cancellation takes effect.
4.1 One‑Month Membership — $150/month
- $75 Playtomic wallet credit (usable only at La Palma Padel Club)
- 50% discount on court bookings (member’s portion only)
- 50% discount on social competitions
- 10% discount on pro shop items
4.2 Six‑Month Membership — $900 every six months
- $500 Playtomic wallet credit (usable only at La Palma Padel Club)
- 50% discount on court bookings (member’s portion only)
- 50% discount on social competitions
- 10% discount on pro shop items
- One free 1‑hour lesson
- One free can of balls
- One free club t‑shirt
4.3 One‑Year Membership — $1800 every six months
- $1100 Playtomic wallet credit (usable only at La Palma Padel Club)
- 50% discount on court bookings (member’s portion only)
- 50% discount on social competitions
- 15% discount on pro shop items
- Two free 1‑hour lessons
- Two free cans of balls
- One free club t‑shirt
- 30% discount on the first racket purchased from the pro shop
4.4 Membership Conditions
- Wallet credits are non‑transferable and non‑refundable.
- Discounts apply only to the member’s share of the booking or purchase.
- Free items and lessons must be redeemed within the membership period.
- Misuse of membership benefits may result in suspension or cancellation.
5. Coaching, Programs & Social Competitions
- All coaching sessions, clinics, and social competitions must be booked through Playtomic or directly with the Club.
- The Club reserves the right to reschedule or cancel sessions due to weather, coach availability, or operational needs.
- Discounts for members apply only where specified.
6. Competitions & Leagues
- Players must adhere to competition rules, formats, and schedules as communicated by the Club.
- The Club may adjust formats, divisions, or match times to ensure fairness and smooth operation.
- Poor sportsmanship or repeated rule violations may result in removal from competitions.
7. Conduct & Behaviour
All players and visitors must:
- Demonstrate good conduct and sportsmanship at all times.
- Treat staff, coaches, and other players with respect.
- Use equipment and facilities responsibly.
- Follow all posted signage and staff instructions.
The Club reserves the right to remove any person engaging in abusive, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour.
8. Use of Facilities
- Players must respect the courts, nets, walls, and all equipment.
- Damage caused by misuse may result in repair charges.
- When the Club is unstaffed, all drinks and retail items must be paid for using the QR code at the front desk.
- Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated areas and in accordance with licensing laws.
9. Liability & Safety
- Padel is a physical sport. Players participate at their own risk.
- The Club is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property unless required by law.
- Players must wear appropriate footwear and use the courts safely.
- Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult unless participating in a supervised program.
10. Privacy, Media & Data Handling
- Personal information is managed in accordance with Australian privacy laws.
- Booking and payment information is handled through Playtomic’s platform and subject to Playtomic’s privacy policy.
- The Club may use contact details to communicate updates, schedules, and promotions.
- Photos and videos may be taken during club activities, competitions, coaching sessions, or general use of the facilities for promotional or community purposes.
- Players who do not wish to appear in photos or videos, or do not want their image published on social media or marketing materials, must notify staff prior to participation.
- The Club will make reasonable efforts to respect and accommodate these requests.
11. Changes to Terms
La Palma Padel Club Pty Ltd may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website or displayed in the Playtomic app.
La Palma Unlimited Spring Membership - Terms and Conditions
1. Membership Overview
The La Palma Unlimited Membership ("Membership") is a limited-time Spring membership offering members unlimited court bookings during designated membership hours for a weekly fee of $79.00.
Membership availability is limited and may be withdrawn or amended at La Palma Padel Club's discretion following the completion of the Spring period.
2. Membership Fee

Membership fee: $79.00 per week

Minimum commitment period: 8 consecutive weeks

Membership fees are payable in advance.

Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
3. Membership Access Hours
Members may make unlimited bookings within the following allocated membership periods:
Monday to Friday

6:30pm to 9:30pm
Saturday
-
12:00pm to 3:00pm
Bookings outside these designated times are not included and will be charged at standard rates.
4. Booking Conditions
To ensure fair access for all members:

Members may hold a maximum of three (4) active bookings at any one time.

Members may only book courts up to seven (7) days in advance.

Bookings are subject to court availability.

Membership access does not guarantee court availability during membership hours.
La Palma reserves the right to monitor booking activity and apply reasonable usage controls if necessary to ensure fair access for all members.
5. Cancellations and No-Shows

Bookings must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.

Late cancellations may incur a fee.

Members who fail to attend a booking without cancelling may incur a no-show fee.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension or cancellation of membership privileges.
6. Included Social Events
Membership includes complimentary registration to La Palma social events conducted during the membership period, including:

Legends of the Court
-
Wednesday Socials
-
Friday Socials
Participation remains subject to event capacity, availability and any event-specific rules.
7. Exclusions
The Membership does not include:

Private coaching lessons
-
Group coaching programs
-
Junior or Adult Academy programs
-
Clinics and workshops
-
Tournaments
-
Special events not specifically listed as included
-
Merchandise, food and beverages
-
Sundays and Public Holidays
La Palma reserves the right to determine which activities fall outside the Membership offering.
8. Fair Use Policy
This Membership is intended for personal recreational use.
Members must not:

Make bookings for non-members where the primary purpose is to bypass standard booking fees.

Reserve courts without intending to play.
-
Repeatedly make speculative or excessive bookings.

Engage in conduct that unfairly restricts access for other members or customers.
La Palma reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships where booking behaviour is considered abusive or inconsistent with the spirit of the Membership.
9. Membership Suspension
Memberships cannot be paused during the initial 4-week commitment period. Any pause requests after this period are at the sole discretion of La Palma Padel Club and must be requested in writing.
Membership can be paused for up to a week under extraordinary circumstances.
10. Spring Program
This Membership is being offered as a Spring program for a limited period. (September-November)
La Palma reserves the right to:

Modify membership terms;

Adjust pricing;
-
Limit membership numbers;
-
Discontinue the Membership at the conclusion of the Spring program.
Any changes will not affect a member's current paid commitment period.
11. General Club Terms
All members are required to comply with the general Terms & Conditions, Club Rules and Code of Conduct published on the La Palma Padel Club website.
In the event of any inconsistency, the Club's general Terms & Conditions will apply unless otherwise stated in these Membership Terms.
